The linoprint ‘Heart Corolla’ is linoprint, created in my studio in Melbourne in 2011. I have printed a very small edition at the Australian Print Workshop in Fitzroy, Melbourne. The inspiration for this work was the immeasurable beauty of the flower Peony. It is printed in a dusty dark pink colour. The background and the flower are carved by hand in continuous horizontal lines.

Violeta Čapovska is an interdisciplinary artist who works in installation, video, photography, printmaking and performance. She received a BFA from the Faculty of Fine Art, Skopje in 1991 and an MFA from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology in 1995. In 2022, she was a resident at the Cité Internationale des Arts in Paris.
