“THE AWAKENING”
Part of the collection:
“Subtleties in Motion”
created in 2019
before the pandemic,
something that put us all to sleep.
Now the time has come
that we wake up and
Let’s put it on “MOTION”.
What this piece achieved in me
was to move, with everything and
pandemic, I’m with me
in my house and he reminded me that the
Tomorrow is a better place.
Wake up and act.

CHECA was born in the city of Guadalajara, Mexico, in 1986. He graduated from the Bachelor’s Degree in
Design, by the Technological Institute of Higher Studies of the West. In 2009 he began his
painting studies to become a student and assistant of the teacher José Fors.
CHECA’s work circles between reality and the subconscious. His work emits a dialogue not only
with his person, but rather confronts the viewer through a translation of the reflection of the
subconscious of the artist to the subconscious of the viewer.
The deep knowledge of the technique and materials has allowed him to engrave in the subconscious the
knowledge of how to make “art” (it’s like learning to drive). The process is based on leaving
that the subconscious program runs freely in order to express what cannot be said
in words.
