This shot was taken during a still moment at dawn in the hills just outside Los Angeles.

By mixing digital manipulation with black and white 35mm (film, scanned and printed) exposures, I created a look that emulates vintage science fiction movies.

To capture intimate moments within the recording process, I blend into the background. The process of becoming one with the scene thus makes me feel at one with the subjects and leaves them feeling more relaxed.
