This photo is a part of Mark’s project exploring the beauty of sound waves bouncing around a dish filled with a liquid. Variations of the liquid color and viscosity, as well as frequency of the sound and shape of the dish affect the color and shapes of the waves, resulting in magical patterns of light reflecting from the surface of the liquid. The shape of this particular image resembles the structure of coronaviruses.

Photography occupies a special place in Mark Aizenberg’s heart since he was a kid running around with a small film camera. His photographic experience is a combination of self education, workshops, classes and hours spent taking photos and developing them in a digital or real dark room (yes, he is that old!).
