Corona Relief Auctions.

This is a collective auction platform created to help artists found in a precarious situation due to the global pandemic.

The cultural scene is especially vulnerable to the pandemic. Artists, critics, gallerists, curators, and other art workers relly heavily on real-life interactions, made impossible due to closedowns and social distancing.

We are looking for collective solutions, ARTIST STOP BEING POOR has decided to set up a platform and offer their artworks for auction directly to the audience.
Our goal is to establish a direct link between artists and art lovers willing to support the arts in this time of need.

Let’s walk through these tough times together, to come out stronger on the other side.

How does it work?

On a weekly base, we will select a group of artists to offer a limited edition print of their artwork that will go up for auction for a week. Art lovers will be able to place their bid over the weekend, with bidding closing Sunday at midnight, Berlin Time.

The prints are produced in Berlin, in the museum-quality paper, being shipped with an authenticity certificate for the print on the week following the auction.

Next auction ends July 5th.

A great way to directly support artists in times, where exhibitions and galleries are under severe restrictions.

Direct to artist auction.

Each week:
10 NEW ARTISTS
30 NEW ARTWORKS
01 NEW AUCTION
30 NEW ART COLLECTORS

Jovana Lakovic aka
WHOSANGST

Jovana Lakovic aka WHOSANGST Visual Artist was born 34 years ago in Serbia, Belgrade. She has been exploring other cultures and art scenes around the globe. All that experience left a huge influence on her work which she is now spreading through visual art as messages, writing, drawings, and videos.
The main topic in her work is LOVE in all kinds of aspects and dealing with raw emotions which nowadays areas she would say “Put on Silence”. No shame no blame just naked truth. She firmly believes that is the only way to freedom which is ART.

She has been exhibiting and selling her work all around the globe. As a Visual Artist, she has collaborated so far with private brands, docu movies, street artists until conceptual artists.

The future is unpredictable. She keeps going to create in her own style, always thinking of messages she is spreading which will help to the other artists to open themselves more in the future, without questioning themselves is it “good enough or not”. Constant passion for creativity and support will make any other artist’s voice louder.

Anton Strandgren

Anton, a painter from Sweden. He is interested in identity and what his identity is made up of and began painting 4 years ago when he felt lost and has ever since used painting as a way of seeking identity by both looking back as well as forward. He can also use his current state of mind as an idea for his work, even though he rarely plans his work in detail, instead he follows the painting, the lines, and patterns that evolves during the process.

Stephan van Kuyk

Teko van Kuyk’s works deal with his latent Latin influences. He was born in Switzerland and after a short time living in New Zealand, he went to live in Latin America, first for 15 years in Brazil and then 9 in Argentina, where he began to invest strongly in his art career. Over the span of 6 years, he took part in more than 60 group shows and 5 solo shows.

After this period of inspiration, he decided it was time for a change, so in 2016 he moved to Berlin, and he’s been loving it here. He has exhibited and sold his work all around the world in cities such as Berlin, Buenos Aires, Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, Brussels, Barcelona, and Madrid.
